Coming soon
Whisper-Line is Windows-only today. The audio capture path — microphone and system audio together — is built on Windows APIs, and the screen reader uses Windows' own offline OCR. A macOS build means rewriting both, so we are not going to promise a date we cannot keep.
If you want it on macOS, say so — that is the signal we will use to decide whether to start.
That opens your mail app — there is no form on this page and no list to join, so nothing is stored here.
After the installer
What the first launch asks for.
No surprises — here is the whole sequence.
-
Sign in
Email and password, or Continue with Google. The Google flow opens your normal browser and hands back a token that is encrypted on your machine — it never touches the app's own web pages.
-
Read and accept
A short set of acknowledgments about what the app is for. None are pre-ticked, and you will be asked again if the documents change.
-
Fetch a speech model
One required English speech model, downloaded from inside the app. It lands outside the install folder, so updates and uninstalls leave it alone.
About the SmartScreen warning
A new Windows installer has no download history, so SmartScreen may warn about it until that reputation builds — this happens to every new signed application. Check the SHA-256 above against your download if you want certainty rather than reassurance.
Where your files live
The app installs per-user, with no admin prompt. Your settings, logs and speech models are kept in a separate folder from the program itself, so an update never overwrites them and an uninstall does not silently take them with it.
Not sure yet?
The trial is the full app, and it starts the moment you sign in. Nothing to cancel.
